Pudumjee Paper Products Ltd. has taken significant strides to integrate renewable energy into its operations as part of its broader sustainability strategy. The company commissioned a 15.4 MWac solar power plant in the Solapur district, which began operations in late 2025 and supplies clean electricity for captive consumption at its Pune manufacturing facility.

In addition, the company operates wind power plants in the districts of Sangli district and Satara district, which together generate approximately 4,60,000 W of renewable energy.

These initiatives highlight Pudumjee’s commitment to reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and lowering its carbon footprint by directly powering industrial processes with solar and wind energy. The projects also reflect a strategic focus on optimizing energy costs while increasing the share of green power in the company’s energy mix, reinforcing its environmental goals and advancing more sustainable manufacturing practices.
